**Product Strategy Manager - Perth**

**Are you a mining engineer with expertise in open-pit, hard-rock mining?**

**Do you have strong experience developing strategies for mine scheduling software products?**

**Are you based in Perth, or willing to relocate (sponsorship available) ?**

Key functions for this Product Strategy Manager are as follows:

- Foster and advance the product vision and market position by keeping abreast of and documenting global market trends, competitor landscape and client needs.
- Design, document and model the offering of products and services within the mining segment of the value chain, including defining the product development roadmap and associated business cases.
- Define and update the Profit Model, including pricing structure and level, and quantify the financial impact to support budget modelling and tracking.
- Define product positioning and messaging, in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, and brief the Marketing Team to plan and supervise delivery.
- Lead the translation of product strategies into detailed road maps with the Technical Product Managers and Product Analysts.
- Liaise with development teams to provide guidance and direction during the software development cycle.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to assist with conferences, tradeshows, and industry events as needed.
- Define and lead the delivery of products release plans.
- Contribute to marketing & sales release plans.
- Review release roll-out materials alignment with all elements of product strategy.
- Ensure the alignment of key product-related budget parameters with the strategy and associated business case.
- Domestic and/or international travel when required.

Essential requirements are:

- A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or similar.
- Strong experience & expertise in open-pit mining.
- 10 years' experience across product strategy, pricing and software product management.
