With an extensive range of fresh meat & seafood, frozen, chilled and drygoods products, PFD has proven their unwavering commitment to their customers since 1943. In 2021 PFD formed a partnership with another proud Australian company, Woolworths Group.

The purpose of this role is to educate and support PFD Foodservice Specialists to increase their seafood selling ability, along with developing and implementing strategies for growth with nominated key accounts.

**Specific Responsibilities***
- To grow Tasmania Seafood sales and exceed the company KPI’s around our fresh and frozen ranges
- Provide on the job training specific to seafood selling/upselling skills of our Foodservice Specialists and customer education
- To be the link and communicator between our supply partners and the sales force
- Introduce/increase seafood sales into nominated major/key accounts
- Extend trading in our seafood range to result in extra sales and develop information sheets & selling tips to support the introduction of such lines and report back daily/weekly
- Be an active member of the State Sales Strategy Meetings
- As this role develops, extra responsibilities could be added to this job description
- Actively find solutions in our Tasmanian market for continued growth channels

**Knowledge, Skills and Qualities**
- **MUST** have experience in the fresh seafood area
- **MUST **be Hobart based
- As this is a ‘hands on’ position, the Seafood Specialist must be able to lead by example, particularly in the sales areas
- High level of analytical ability
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, internal and external
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to demonstrate operational, administrative, sales and marketing abilities
