**The Role**:
Full time Obstetrics & Gynaecology Staff Specialist Supportive team environment Attractive remuneration Opportunity to develop special interest skills in areas such as urodynamics, colposcopy, advanced laparoscopy and high risk pregnancy. The Maternity unit sees a 1000+ births annually and staffing includes experienced midwives with highly respected MGP and KYM schemes. High risk births are supported by the local endocrinology and diabetic teams.

The unit is supported by a Level 4 Neonatal and Intensive Care Unit.

**The Hospital**:
RANZCOG accredited Hospital. This is Australia’s second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.

**The Requirements**:
To be eligible you must hold the AHPRA Specialist Registration;
- or holds Specialist qualifications overseas and have been assessed by RANZCOG as Substantially Comparable.
