Overview:
**Utilise your extensive transformation change leadership experience to develop and implement manufacturing improvements within medical device**

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will provide expertise and lead manufacturing engineering teams to maintain, develop and implement manufacturing improvements for efficient and compliant manufacturing processes for the production and support of current and new medical devices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership for the continuous improvement (CI) team and associated departments where CI activities are implemented
- Provide strategic direction and lead transformational change to help further embed CI at Cook Australia in liaison with the Manufacturing engineering manager
- Implement CI methodologies across various departments within Cook to improve efficiencies by implementing new methods and technologies to reduce all forms of waste
- Measure, track and report on cost of CI projects and alignment to target spends and ROI of associated projects
- Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement toward best practices
- Implement data systems to measure existing and future processes to assess performance and drive change

Qualifications:

- Held a team leader/manager position implementing transitional change to drive continuous improvement projects in a processing/manufacturing environment (essential)
- Lead development and implementing process improvements (essential)
- Knowledge and experience of various manufacturing processes used in medical device manufacture (desirable but not essential)
- Professional Engineering/Science qualifications (Essential)
- Knowledge and Experience to support new Product Development and their associated processes (Desirable)
- Intermediate statistical data analysis skills and experience (Desirable)
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
