The Job
This is a Brisbane-based role. To be considered, you must be eligible to work legally in Australia on a full-time basis.
What You’ll Do
- Customer Focus_- Gather and analyze customer feedback, conduct user interviews, and stay informed about user needs and pain points to continuously improve the product.- Identify & prioritise customer pain points to address, experiment and continuously iterate on opportunities & solutions to move the success metrics forward.
- Product Planning and Roadmapping_- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and functionality based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.- Evangelize roadmap features outlining what it is, why it is prioritized over others, and benefits for the customer and for the company.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration_- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, customer success, implementation, support and sales, to drive product development and GTM activities.- Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
- Execution_- Define user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with Engineering and UX Design teams on timely and successful delivery of product releases.- Prioritize product backlog and attend appropriate agile ceremonies and ensure teams are focused on the most impactful items.
- Performance Measurement_- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of product releases and make data-driven decisions for future improvements.- Regularly report on product performance to leadership and stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business, or related).- 2-4 years of experience in software product management.- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.- Experience in, or familiarity with, project/workforce management tools and best practices within construction and other trades industries is a plus.
