**Job summary**:
Martinus have a great opportunity for a Trainee Purchasing Officer to join our Inland Rail team. We are looking for someone who has a passion to learn new skills and has the ability to show initiative and problem solve in difficult situations.

This position will undertake a Certificate III in Accounts Administration, this will take place 1 day per week either in person or online. This role will be based in our Brisbane City office.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Provide administration support to ensure efficient operation of the project.
- Collate and distribute reports and other correspondence.
- Provide ad hoc administration support to project leadership team.
- Collate quotes as requested for the project team
- General data entry and assistance purchasing and logistics.
- Enter data into spreadsheets and record in SharePoint.
- Raise and complete purchase orders
- Provide other ad hoc administration support to ensure efficient operation of the project.

**Knowledge, skills and attributes**:

- Must be available to complete additional study (Cert III Accounts Administration) this may be in person study or online.
- High organisation, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- The ability to communicate with all levels of the workforce both internal and external vendors
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
