Exciting new opportunity for a Purchasing Officer to work for a successful & long-established food leader while working close to home in a great team

This fantastic role will see you manage stock equipment and movement ensuring full utilization of operating system whilst ensuring stock management efficiencies.
- Manager regular orders with no critical out stocks
- Complete regular stock takes to identify errors and stock shrinkage
- Ensure purchasing is carried out in a timely manner to ensure production is not interrupted
- Identify and ensure all purchase meet fit for purpose and are cost effective
- Ensure purchasing approvals and requisitions
- Maintenance and development of accurate systems for receival of stock

**Skills & Experience Required**
- 1-2 years in a purchasing or inventory role ideally within an FMCG environment
- An understanding of planning and scheduling practices and procedures
- Well-developed communication skills to all levels internally and externally
- Pro-active and determined mindset
