**Organisation**

Redkite is a non-profit organisation that helps children and teens with cancer and their families by providing holistic psychosocial support. Through the provision of social work services, child and adult counselling, financial assistance, music therapy and group support, Redkite helps families navigate diagnosis, treatment and transition home, and bereavement. Over the past 39 years, Redkite has grown from a small organisation supporting a few dozen families to a national support system helping thousands of families each year.

**Role**

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a driven, energetic, and passionate business development professional. This is a high performing team where you will be working to generate income through new corporate partnerships alongside the broader national business development team. You will establish and lead relationships with corporates through actively seeking new opportunities and developing existing prospects.

You will be working collaboratively with the Regional Council in Queensland who are a group of well networked Senior Business Professionals. You will work on generating a portfolio of multi-year, high value brand-aligned partners.

You will have previous Commercial or Corporate Partnerships experience, and will be a natural Business Developer who is excited by the prospect of bringing their sales skills to such an important sector and impacting the lives of children and families in need. **Key responsibilities**
- Develop a new business pipeline across Queensland and NSW
- Work closely with Redkite’s Regional Council of highly connected business professionals to develop and cultivate a high value pipeline of corporate prospects
- Manage the partnerships cycle from identifying new businesses, prospecting, relationship development through to pitching
- Drive a variety of corporate partnership opportunities such as workplace giving, sponsorship, cause related marketing opportunities and others
- Work collaboratively with the team nationally to bring together proposals, cases for support and pitches
- Develop relationships with high level contacts across a range of corporate partners
- Budget and reporting responsibility across your portfolio

**Skills and experiences**
- Experience in business development from either a Commercial or Fundraising setting
- A self-starter who shows initiative and can work with senior contacts to generate and drive new business with strong writing and reporting skills
- Confident in prospecting through to pitching to C suite level
- Able to work towards individual financial targets and exceed revenue goals
- Demonstrated success working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- A strong sales drive and ability to build long term sustainable partnerships
- You will thrive in a fast-paced environment independently as well as part of a team
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- A true passion and desire to work with an inspirational organisation like Redkite
- Experience using CRM databases, Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point
