**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Corporate Partnership Manager to join Alumni and Corporate Events, Business Development Portfolio, Chancellery Division.

The Corporate Partnership Manager position is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining effective links with industry, QUT alumni, university partners and other external bodies which support the learning and teaching goals of the university and fostering these connections internally with the appropriate stakeholders. As a Business Development Position, this role will be the front line contact for QUT partners wishing to attract talent to build their future workforce Through this role, these partnerships may lead to new student placements and programs, new HDR scholarships and internships, or securing of future employment opportunities. This position will work closely with the Faculties of Science and Business & Law.

The Business Development Portfolio provides university-wide coordination and stewardship of QUT’s engagement with industry, philanthropic and alumni communities. Led by the Vice-President (Business Development), the following areas fall within the Portfolio’s responsibility:

- Office of the Vice-President (Business Development);
- Industry Engagement;
- Advancement; and
- Alumni and Corporate Events.

**What you need to succeed**

As a strong communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate the shared QUT Values in your approach to work.

You will demonstrate:

- Education or progression towards and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline in conjunction with demonstrated extensive experience in business development.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of effective relationship and new partnership building with industry, government and professions in a university.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a broad range of discipline based stakeholders including corporate partners, academics, student groups and other areas of the University.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing industry/corporate partners at a senior level with outcomes that lead to securing of WIL placements, alumni engagement and sponsorship of programs.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet competing deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly developed written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to draft, proof read and edit a range of written material including correspondence, reports, sponsorship proposals, creative promotional materials and preparing written agreements or contracts.
