**Opportunity**

Talent International are currently hiring for an APS 5/6 Sourcing Officer/Specialist to join a Federal Government Agency on a 12-month contract with potential to extend. These opportunities are in Geelong and are paying $53.63 - $58.50 per hour + Superannuation.

The APS 5/6 Sourcing Officer supports ensuring the best value for money is achieved through the effective sourcing of Scheme Partners.

The position supports the delivery of sourcing projects and provides input to the development and implementation of plans to ensure quality outputs. It will work with stakeholders to understand the Agency requirements and how these impact on Partner contracts, statements of requirements and sourcing options.

The role supports sourcing projects, from planning to execution of agreement and works closely with teams to ensure a smooth handover between strategy, sourcing, performance and contract management.

**Role**
- Assisting in the review of contract terms and conditions to align with legislative changes, policy updates, practices improvement or changing organisational priorities.
- Supporting sourcing projects within the forward sourcing program.
- Assisting contract management teams with contract variations and extensions for moderate to complex Partner agreements.
- Supporting the team to improve and develop better statements of requirements, structured negotiation practices and techniques.
- Contributing to the implementation and management of process disciplines and management systems to track and achieve the desired results of the Sourcing program.
- Supporting evaluation and negotiation teams and processes for establishing Partner contracts at an implementation level.
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate governance and compliance through maintaining corporate governance, compliance and audit and risk management processes.
- Implementing appropriate controls, undertaking issues resolution, maintaining process disciplines and management systems necessary to track and achieve desired outcomes.
- Supporting ongoing reviews and improvements to sourcing processes and systems.
