**The Role**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
The role of the APS4 Analyst involves:

- assist in preparing research and policy advice to support the ongoing development of Workforce Australia, including by looking at what the ongoing employment policy settings should be
- assist with internal and external stakeholders to understand the operation of the new model and how it can be improved
- using evidence from analysis, research and evaluations to inform policy thinking around Workforce Australia, including by making recommendations about potential improvements
- undertaking analysis to inform policy advice.

**Qualifications and Education**
Tertiary qualifications in an analytical discipline such as economics, statistics, policy, research, social science, or related fields are highly desirable.
