Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a APS4 Finance Officer on a contract for 12 months.

**Position Overview**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Facilitating transaction processing in the systems to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
- Extracting and analysing data from SAP and other financial systems to resolve enquiries.
- Preparing accurate and timely management reports as required.
- Providing input into the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the team, including
- process mapping requirements.
- Working with key stakeholders to support various project initiatives.

**Key skill requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in a Finance function, ideally in Government or in a large organisation
- Demonstrated experience measuring and reporting on compliance with approved policies/procedures
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse, and present data
- Proficient use of Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a small team
- Experience in SAP (desirable)
