Business support position which focuses on the procurement process

**Your new company**
The position is responsible for the purchase of low value goods and services in accordance with the Public Transport Authority and Government procurement policies and procedures.

**Your new role**
This is primarily a business support position which focuses on the procurement process
- Provides advice and assistance in the quotation process for low value procurement in compliance with the government procurement policies and procedures
- Purchases general goods and services
- Assists in the development of low value, routine contracts.
- Provides support in the administration of contracts tender documentation
- Monitors and reports on activities and progress of procurement
- Creates system generated purchase orders
- Liaises with staff for amendments to existing purchase orders
- Reviews and reports on purchase order status

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Administration experience
- Eye for detail
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with government procurement would be an advantage
