**About the job**

EK Contracting has the opportunity for an experienced **Mine Operator Leading Hand** to join our **FIFO **team in the Pilbara on an **8/6 roster**.

**Core responsibilities**
- Support the Client Representative by providing guidance and leadership to Mine Operator team
- Liaise with Client Representative to ensure all daily tasks are completed within the job requirements
- Support and participate in the planning, organising and overseeing the completion of the project
- Ensure the compliance of safety procedures and protocols are met
- Communicate with supervisors and operators in a clear exchange of information to ensure an efficient working environment

**Essential criteria**
- Must have minimum HR drivers’ licence with 2 years of experience.
- Be certified to operate an Excavator and Skid Steer
- White Card
- Be open to doing a medical including Drug and Alcohol

**Salary**: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
