**Summary**:

- Haymac Engineering is on the hunt for a CNC Laser operator that wants to work in a new workshop with a family-owned business.
- We have recently commissioned a Bodor CNC Laser Cutter, must have laser cutting experience but extra training is provided.
- We are a small but highly capable and motivated team - we believe in flexibility and want to fit the work and hours around the right people.
- We are a new company with fresh mindsets and eager to grow with the right people.

Start Date: July/August but also open to a start later in the year.

Flexible with days/hours for the right applicant.

**About the role**

Join our team as a Casual CNC Laser operator in our Fabrication Shop. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Operating a Bodor CNC Laser Machine
- Setup & adjustment of metalworking machines & equipment including a laser cutting machine.
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Load and unload materials
- Monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and keep everything running smoothly
- Conduct routine maintenance

**What you will need**:

- Current Drivers License
- A valid forklift license
- Previous experience operating laser machinery
- The ability to read technical drawings and specs with confidence
- Shown capability to work in a team environment unsupervised
