The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join our high-performing Engineering team. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll travel to mine sites across Australia (and occasionally overseas) to perform 3D scans of crusher parts and wear liners — primarily cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Engineering and Development Manager, you'll take ownership of a mix of technical and field responsibilities, including:

  • Performing accurate 3D scans of new and worn crusher components on-site.
  • Managing travel logistics and site access requirements (inductions, tickets, etc.) for each job.
  • Assisting with proposals and cost estimates for on-site condition monitoring services.
  • Using laser scanning equipment and measurement tools to collect and process high-quality data.
  • Aligning and preparing scan data for use in 3D modelling and wear analysis.
  • Collaborating with our engineering and product development teams to create detailed wear reports.
  • Maintaining scanning equipment and ensuring all tools are calibrated and ready for use.
  • Upholding strict safety standards and company health and safety policies at all times.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar technical, field, or mining-related role.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when processing technical data.
  • Comfortable working in mining and industrial environments.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to work and travel.
