**Your new company**
Hays are proud to partner with ACEN Australia in their search for a communications specialist to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. ACEN Australia is focused on accelerating Australia’s transition to a renewable energy future. They are currently working on several solar, wind, battery, pumped hydro and energy storage projects across New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia in development and construction.
**Your new role**
Due to continual growth, this newly created role is reporting into the Manager of Social Participation and Communication and will operate with a high level of autonomy. You’ll be based in the Australian head office in Salamanca, Hobart and be employed on a permanent full-time basis to create communications content to build awareness of, and engagement with ACEN Australia, its workforce, partners and other stakeholders.
- Proactively source, research and develop engaging communication content for a variety of tools and channels including newsletters, social media and website platforms, employee intranet
- Coordinate the company’s traditional and social media monitoring
- Assist to coordinate the company’s participation at industry, government and community events and conferences, including exhibition booths, speeches and presentations.
- Monitor company contact points and respond to enquiries
- Assist in the planning of corporate events, including celebration and business achievement milestones
- Maintain the company’s brand bank including an up-to-date photo and video library
- Support business functions including Human Resources, Health and Safety on the implementation of new or changed business processes and systems
- Champion company branding guidelines and standards, ensuring communications materials are consistent and high quality
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, marketing or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position Experience in the successful planning, delivery of internal and external content and communication
- Experience in the successful planning and delivery of internal and external content and communication
- Experience in content management and design systems, social media, web based platforms and the Microsoft Suite
