Engagement Specialist role for an initial 6 months based in Hobart northern suburbs.
**Your new company**
Our client is a leading local utilities organisation who are experiencing a peak work period in the Engagement space due to large reporting requirements. They are seeking an Engagement Specialist to support the Communications and Engagement Lead on a major piece of regulatory work for the next 6 months.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Communications and Engagement Lead, this role as an Engagement Specialist is responsible for analysing, reporting and communicating engagement processes to meet the strategic objectives. This includes engagement plans for complex and diverse projects, supporting operational systems and processes, and maintaining digital platforms, including reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide professional and expert advice to project teams in developing highly effective engagement plans.
- Maintain and support project webpages and the engagement register.
- Champion and contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic Engagement framework and help develop mechanisms that advance engagement effectiveness.
- Liaise effectively and develop strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a consistent approach to engagement.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of relevant industry developments, legislation, and practice in relation to Engagement.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience as practitioner that has worked on a range of projects.
- Demonstrated experience in developing engagement plans and managing complex and diverse community engagement projects
- Demonstrated experience working with online engagement platforms and CRMs.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing of a wide range of community engagement tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and engagement systems skills including developing and managing online engagement tools, content management systems and Microsoft Office.

**What you'll get in return**
As our client goes through a peak period of work, resulting in a large scale report being submitted, they are needing an experienced professional to join their team for the next 6 months initially. This is a temporary role paying an hourly rate on a weekly timesheet. You'll be able to work flexible hours and days in discussion with your manager, have access to onsite free parking, gym facilities and other site benefits.
