We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor/People Performance and Welfare Officer to work at our Brisbane HQ.

**About you**

**Experience**
- 3+ years industry experience (blue collar / production or processing)
- Clear and demonstrated understanding of employment legislation
- Ability to think outside the square and identify opportunities
- Experience in HR generalist role
- Knowledge of WHS in Australia
- Ability to passionately articulate business purpose, values and plan
- Ability to identify, understand and prioritize issues
- Flexible to travel if needed (not beyond once a fortnight)

**About the role**

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, You will support the day to day business operations and in ensuring effective and successful management of staff, productivity, quality control and safety measures.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide welfare support to workers, where required, and to extent of agreed parameters, in consultation with Operations Managers
- Assist in continual improvement of the Operational Management System
- Aligning processes to best HR practice, overseeing disciplinary processes, including obtaining authorization for ending of employment
- Assist in facilitating internal auditing providing assistance to the Human Resources Operations Manager.
- Ensure work complies with the required Quality Standards
- Maintain records of all internal staff files / complaints / Investigations / FWC cases.
- Develop a strong working relationship/partnering with Operations Managers and Onsite Managers
- Assist in onboarding of new or transferred personnel
- Partnering strongly with Operations Managers and Onsite Managers, while assisting in their capability development, to promote effective outcomes in performance, conduct and engagement
