**Reports to** - The General Manager
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provide strong clinical leadership, guidance and direction to staff members ensuring a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- In consultation with relevant stakeholders review the Supported Independent Living and In Home Care model and make recommendations for improvements in consultation with the General Manager.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, providing any necessary feedback to the General Manager of Always Care Services Pty Ltd. Work within the legislation and guidelines of NDIS to support the team.
- In consultation with key stakeholders, develop, execute, and maintain processes and procedures relevant to Always Care Services Pty Ltd’s service delivery.
- Consult with other service providers, stakeholders, and health professionals to assist in the support of the clients.
- Facilitate and support formal and informal communication and relationships ensuring that client’s needs and concerns are addressed and acted upon in a timely manner.
- Nurture client’s independence and ability to make choices.
- Ensure all practices and service activities comply with federal, state and company policies and procedures to ensure effective, efficient, and inclusive practice.
- Ensure documentation is on time, functional and effective and is held in accordance with auditing requirements.
- Oversee clinical quality and compliance of Always Care Services Pty Ltd, in conjunction with the NDIS Quality and Compliance Manager.
- Conduct annual staff clinical competency assessments.
- Ensure practice is within APHRA Standards for Practice and Codes of Conduct.
- Nursing practice is evidence based and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Practice as a clinical resource contributing towards continuing education for staff and self.
- Complete clinically accurate assessments and care plans in accordance with policies, procedures that reflect person-centred holistic care.
- Recognise and respond effectively to changes in client’s conditions.
- Ensure that organisation’s procedures are implemented and that all statutory regulations and requirements are met.
- Conduct clinical education for staff to meet our participants needs.
- Responsible for clinical care across disability for High Intensity Supports and complex clinical needs safety and others in the workplace.
- Comply with any reasonable instructions, policies and procedures given by your manager, including:
Follow safe work practices, procedures and training provided.
- Manage infection outbreaks. Ensure ACS has a sound infection control practice in place.
- Understand work, health and safety risks, critical control processes and the resources that are required to mitigate risks.

**Qualifications -**
**Essential**
- Registered Nurse (current APHRA Registration)
- Current NDIS Commission Module Certificates
- Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain Criminal History Check
**Required knowledge and experience.**
- Demonstrated understanding of the support needs requirements of people with different types of disabilities and communication needs.
- Well-developed time management and personal organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to competing demands.
- Contribute positively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to always maintain confidentially on information.
- Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation.
- Ability to identify and resolve conflict and respond effectively.
- Stay person focused and commitment to the achievement of the organisation’s business objectives.
- Effective written and verbal communication, internal and external to the organisation.
- Work collaboratively to ensure that compliance requirements are streamlined and embedded.
- Ensure disability compliance requirements are monitored, and reported on internally and met.

**Salary**: $78,976.57 - $90,945.53 per year
