**HR and Quality & Safeguarding Officer**

About the Role:
Pearson Allied Health Services is a Allied Health Company in Morphett Vale. We specialise in not only traditional therapy services but also animal assistive therapy.

**The Role**:
The role is a flexible one, where you will be able to contribute to our continuous improvement program and help us meet organisational goals.

The key focus areas is to:

- Further develop or improve our policies and procedures?
- Review and analysis new paperwork to ensure compliance with the NDIS acts and legislation.
- Contribute and successfully manage our continuous improvement program.
- Develop and implement new initiatives including ones around employee retention and wellbeing.
- Plan and execute process improvement projects to identify and deliver service improvement activity across the organisation.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Business, Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Risk Management and have experience and knowledge of internal audits. You will be:

- reliable, have a good work ethic.
- Be able to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SCHADS award or similar award
- High level dispute resolution skills
- Strong administration and IT skills

**Knowledge**:

- Understanding of child safety, the legislation and requirements surrounding this.
- Understanding and knowledge of the Privacy Act and relevant confidentiality requirements.
- Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct and act in compliance at all times and willing to act in accordance with the PAHS Mission Statement & PAHS Staff Code of Conduct.
- Understanding of Disability Service Standards and relevant legislation.
- Understanding of United Nations Convention on Human Rights for People with a Disability.
