**Purpose of the Role**

The Delivery & Installation Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight of solar panel installations across the company’s operating regions. This includes managing installer capacity and scheduling, field performance, procurement planning, and logistics operations in partnership with internal teams. This role excludes day-to-day field-based activities and warehouse management, which are led by Solar Lead Technicians. The Delivery & Installation Manager collaborates with regional technicians and internal operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and excellent customer satisfaction while supporting regional expansion.

**Objectives & KPIs**

Objective 1: Lead Installer Scheduling and Regional Workforce Execution
- KPI 1: 95% of scheduled installs delivered on time (excluding weather)
- KPI 2: Less than 2% of jobs require rework or revisit within 30 days

Objective 2: Oversee Procurement Strategy and Logistics Readiness
- KPI 1: 100% of installations receive full product deliveries at least 24h before the install date
- KPI 2: Zero install delays caused by internal procurement or logistics errors

Objective 3: Manage Installer Workforce Performance and Quality
- KPI 1: Conduct monthly reviews and compliance checks across all subcontractors
- KPI 2: Maintain audit pass rate of 98%+ on post-install quality and safety reviews

Objective 4: Support Customer Satisfaction and Regional Growth
- KPI 1: Resolve escalated customer issues within 5 business days
- KPI 2: Maintain a 4.5/5 or greater customer satisfaction rating across all installs

**Responsibilities & Duties**

Installer Scheduling & Field Oversight
- Review upcoming install pipeline and assign jobs based on regional capacity and team availability
- Validate installer readiness in collaboration with Delivery Coordinator and Solar Lead Technicians
- Monitor scheduling adherence and fallover rates across all states

Procurement & Logistics Strategy
- Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to forecast installation demands
- Approve and oversee the procurement of solar panels, batteries, and inverters
- Ensure alignment between inventory planning, logistics timelines, and install dates

Workforce Performance Management
- Lead the onboarding and contract management of subcontractor teams
- Set KPIs and quality standards for installers in collaboration with Lead Technicians
- Identify and address performance gaps or training needs

Safety & Compliance
- Review safety incident reports provided by Solar Lead Technicians
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure installation processes remain compliant
- Collaborate with field-based staff to continuously improve safety systems

Customer Escalation & Communication
- Act as the escalation point for post-installation issues raised by the Coordinator or Technicians
- Liaise with clients on complex installation issues requiring management involvement
- Support improvement of internal processes that reduce future escalations

Strategic Input & Reporting
- Advise leadership on installer network expansion and regional capacity planning
- Monitor KPI dashboards and prepare monthly operational performance reports
- Identify systemic gaps in install readiness or delivery and recommend improvements

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- 5+ years’ experience in solar installation operations, construction management, or electrical project delivery
- Strong experience in scheduling, subcontractor management, and operational reporting
- Demonstrated understanding of solar procurement planning and delivery logistics
- High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of Australian electrical safety regulations and WHS standards
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Simpro, or similar job management systems
- Background in solar product supply chains or technical sales support

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
