**The Role**

The SIL Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of Marble Care group homes. To assist with the planning and implementation of a quality Supported Independent Living service which creates and maintains an environment designed to provide participants with effective opportunities to participate, to their best potential and in accord with their own preferences, in processes that lead to a high-quality lifestyle.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide direction, coordination, and support to the SIL Mentor staff.
- Active supervision of all SIL Mentors
- Induction, Training and Orientation of new staff
- Develop, implement, and maintain rosters in accordance with SCHADS Award
- Crisis Management and WHS compliance
- Being actively involved with the development, implementation and review of support plans required for residents.
- Coordinate the delivery of daily living supports enabling residents to achieve their goals through the implementation of their NDIS plans.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating effective participant support and service delivery.
- Coordinate team processes, including client reviews and team meetings.
- Ensuring that administration tasks in all group homes are of a high quality and meet compliance requirements.

**Experience and Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years experience working with adults with complex behaviours in a residential setting.
- Tertiary qualifications desired or minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, Disabilities or related.
- Able to support and mentor staff to use initiative, work flexibly, prioritize work and to work in a person-centered way.
- Demonstrated experience using person centered approaches to effectively develop and implement individual person-centered plans.
- Well organized, ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills including written, spoken & listening.
- Well-developed ability to problem-solve and implements practical solutions.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current WHS practices and understanding of risk management in a Residential Service setting.
- Current driver’s license
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- National Police Checks - completed within the last 6 months.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year
