**The Project**

The Victorian Government’s North East Link Program is Victoria’s biggest road project that will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network. The project will connect the Eastern Freeway to the M80 Ring Road with new twin tunnels, taking 15,000 trucks a day off local roads, slashing travel times by up to 35 minutes and create new open spaces and walking and cycling connections for local communities.

The project includes a massive overhaul of the Eastern Freeway, creating new express lanes and Melbourne’s first dedicated busway with two new park and ride facilities improving access to public transport in the eastern suburbs.

**The role**:
As key business partner you will engage senior stakeholders across the project ensuring that they have the right people, in the right place, at the right time

**Your impact**:
You will champion best practice talent acquisition practices resourcing the industry’s best talent for the North East Link South Alliance, one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria

**Your every day**:

- Strategic source and engage best talent for key positions at Symal.
- Championing and developing strategic sourcing initiatives to support diversity across the organisation

**Who are you?**
- Extensive recruitment experience (either within agency or internal - ideally both) with a strong understanding of value add recruitment - not just ticking a box
- Strong desire to partner with businesses and not just as a 'transactional recruiter'
- Evidence of pipelining external talent for executive and critical roles, and those roles with a recognised skill shortage in the market.
- A strong capability in managing stakeholders and taking initiative;
- Experience within the construction/infrastructure sector or related industries is highly desirable
