**Job tasks and responsibilities**

**About the role**:
We are looking for a motivated Trainer for the following qualifications:

- SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
- SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management

You will be responsible for:

- Program planning and operations
- Delivering trainings
- Conducting assessment
- Industry engagement in Commercial Cookery
- Monitoring and reporting on academic progress

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in training in the VET sector
- A relevant Industry qualification and links with employers
- Demonstrated understanding of training packages and units of competency
- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent or higher)
- Experience validating assessment and learner resources
- Demonstrated adult learning/education and training experience
- High level communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy/experience with MS Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Broadmeadows, VIC 3047: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
