This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing **Warehouse Team Leader **to join and lead our engaged and high functioning Parts Warehouse team at our Laverton branch.

The Parts Warehouse at William Adams is considered the “lifeblood of the business”, continuing to supply professional and efficient services to both our internal stakeholders and long-standing loyal customers.

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting directly to the Parts & Warehouse Manager, you will utilise your extensive experience leading a team and working with warehousing KPI’s, logistics and storage.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Perform all warehouse duties, including picking parts orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Package and dispatch all parts orders
- Organise freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries
- Process of parts credits from customers and workshop
- Work closely with team members to support and deliver healthy utilisation rates
- Maintenance of all Warehouse plant and equipment
- Ensure operational policies and procedures are followed to maximise productivity
- Manage Contamination Control procedures and ensure a safe and healthy culture within the team

**You will be an experienced Warehouse Team Leader with the following**:

- Implementation of effective warehouse management systems and procedures
- Mechanical knowledge / comprehension of Cat parts is highly regarded
- Proven experience in a similar role/warehouse environment
- A thorough understanding of “Chain of Responsibility”
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle simultaneous tasks
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge or understanding of Cat software programs would be advantageous
- A qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or Business would be highly regarded
- A current forklift licence

This position is paid an hourly rate plus an incentive bonus, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.
