Job description

We are looking for a hands-on, safety-focused team leader to join our growing electronic waste recycling business. You will lead an operational team dedicated to the safe handling, sorting and processing of electronic waste, and play a key role in daily performance management and safety supervision.

Main Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently perform tasks and production targets assigned by the company

Lead and motivate the team to ensure daily production and safety performance

Operate forklifts to move and sort electronic waste (must hold a valid forklift license LF)

On-site supervision, monitoring and management of employee performance and work status

Follow and promote the correct electronic waste disposal process and environmental protection regulations

Report operational issues in a timely manner and promote continuous process optimization

Organize daily toolbox meetings and assist in training new employees

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment

Job Requirements

Only Australian citizens or permanent residents (PR) can apply

Hold a valid LF forklift license and be proficient in operating electric/diesel forklifts

At least 3 years of experience in warehousing, waste disposal or manufacturing industry

At least 1 year of team management or shift experience

Strong communication, time management and execution skills

Able to quickly learn and strictly implement company standards and decisions

Adapt to a fast-paced, high-intensity physical work environment

Strong sense of responsibility, reliable and proactive

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
