As the Instructional Designer you will support the Technical Training team with technical and theoretical support in the design, development, delivery, and embedding of training initiatives, as well as creating instructional videos, presentations and assets. You will inject creative flair to the team through digital video and content production, as well as contributing creative control to think outside the box and leverage new technology and approaches to learning with our people, with the opportunity to participate in content delivery.

This is a newly created role to contribute to a start-up project during a period of transformation and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to craft materials from the beginning in a fast-paced environment.

**In this exciting role, you will**:

- Scope, design and develop innovative, interactive and engaging training materials to suit the delivery methods of face-to-face, e-learning and blended methodologies to meet organisational L&D needs;
- Create visual ideation that meets the demands and trends of all our digital platform environments
- Capture, edit, and develop visual content, including video platforms;
- Engage and influence the team and broader business to propel with creativity and best in class visual storytelling;
- Present new content ideas for our learning channels;
- Contribute to the design of training strategies, project plans and continuous improvement of existing learning materials;
- Partner with a range of stakeholders to ensure consistency of training materials and procedures across the organisation and ensure alignment of training/capability initiatives with company values, as well as our cultural and I&D policies;

You will be experienced in assessing and building workforce capability and will thrive on the opportunity to contribute strategically to ensure current and future learning & development needs are met.

As a clear communicator and confident problem solver, you excel in breaking down complex tasks and developing customer centric solutions which meet the brief. You are agile in your approach and capable of prioritising your workload to ensure the highest levels of service delivery.

**We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and customer-centric individual who has**:

- Previous experience in Learning and Development and competency-based learning methodologies, with demonstrated experience in the claims/ insurance industry
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation, coaching and mentoring
- Highly-developed communication and presentation skills;
- A flexible, adaptive and collaborative approach to your work, with the ability to work autonomously;
- A love of learning, mentoring and a desire to continually develop yourself;
- Competency across the Microsoft Office Suite (with a particular focus on Word);
- The ability and interest to embrace and learn new software packages;
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or other relevant educational qualifications would be highly regarded.
