To accommodate our growing service, we are currently seeking JMOs and CMOs to work in our FACEM led Emergency Department and on our Wards.

Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected private hospital operator, Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a comprehensive cardiac/vascular surgical and diagnostic facility which focuses on advanced cardiac, surgical and interventional procedures. Located ten minutes’ drive south of Newcastle near the beautiful Hunter Valley and only 2 hours from Sydney, Lake Macquarie is regarded as one of the premier facilities in this region.

**Criteria**
- Hold General registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or be eligible for registration under the Competent Authority pathway
- Minimum two years post graduate experience in an Australian hospital or equivalent
- Experience in Emergency Medicine and / or General Medicine
- Ability to participate in a 7 day rotating roster
- Full time preferred, part-time and casual hours considered

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children **check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
