**Your new role**
- Ensure an efficient and professional information flow from Maintenance across the sites and externally
- Create a culture of service excellence and measurable high levels of customer satisfaction, based on a sound set of service delivery standards and problem-solving methodology
- Lead and develop the maintenance team.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships within the Maintenance team, wider
- Production team and across the organisation
- Lead all the maintenance activities for the move to the new site
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Technicians to develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, promoting a preventative maintenance culture, critically analysing relevant data to reduce recurring issues
- Ensure the process and systems are continually improved to manage a proactive approach to maintenance and to ensure reactive items are addressed (e.g., compliance actions and work orders)
- Schedule preventative and routine maintenance, monitor adherence to planned maintenance schedules and investigate and report significant variances to the Head of Operations
- Undertake maintenance (within skill level) and manage contracted services for maintenance required outside electrical and mechanical abilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage site services and utilities to maximise uptime and ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Trade qualified Electrician with strong automated control system aptitude.
- Project management of capital and improvement activities
- Experience of implementing maintenance and reliability systems
- Mechanical Abilities with knowledge of Complex Hydraulic Systems; Rotating Vessels; Conveyors, Screening equipment and Mobile plant
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strong time management and technical troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel as well as strong analytical and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to move around in confined, dusty/dirty spaces
