**About the Role**

Our residents cherish their gardens and surroundings and we are looking for a Garden/Maintenance Officer who can continue bringing joy to our residents with their meticulous landscaping skills. Our Seniors Living Home Care community has a variety of maintenance and landscaping needs across lawns, garden beds, trees and hedges.

The types of services you will provide include:

- Undertaking landscaping duties including, mowing, fertilising, hedging, pruning and garden rubbish removal;
- Maintaining an inventory and preventative maintenance schedule of equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations;
- Completing records using the organisation's asset management system where appropriate (training provided).

Remuneration for this role is from $25.66 per hour commensurate with experience.

**About You**

It is important that you are caring as you will be a trusted person working around our Senior Living Home Care services. Your ability to work autonomously and to manage your own time is required.

As the Garden/Maintenance Officer, ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- Previous experience in residential aged care, retirement living or community services environment is highly regarded but not required;
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance or landscaping role;
- Knowledge of work health and safety requirements, or the ability to acquire within one month of employment;
- A current driver's licence;
- Possess a current National Police Check, or the willingness to acquire one.
