**Your employer**: At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) it is our job to support and advise the Premier and Cabinet so that the government's priorities, commitments, decisions and objectives for the community can be delivered.Environment and Planning Policy in The Cabinet Office plays a central role in addressing strategic issues across a range of areas including planning, local government, innovation, environment and science, manufacturing, water, agriculture and fisheries.Your opportunity: You will help to drive strategic policy issues in environment and planning policy through: - Analysing complex policy issues and contributing ideas on solutions
- Generate a range of policy documents
- Attend high level meetings and represent the department
**About you**: We are looking for a proactive starter who can: - rapidly identify and analyse complex policy issues and documents
- negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders to develop solutions
