Experienced generalist HR Business Partner for growing mining organisation based in Perth CBD

Our client is entering an exciting phase of their growth which includes new CBD based offices with a view, creation of new opportunities within the human resources team and implementation of new technology for the future.

Reporting to the EGM of People and Culture, you will be integral in supporting the establishment of the human resources function, through the provision of operational and strategic generalist human resources and the effective coaching and development of line management to raise the capability and the performance of the existing and future workforce.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Creation and implementation of HR processes and procedures to establish an effective HR framework
- Provision of generalist advice and coaching leaders to develop their workforce both personally and professionally
- Partner with the leadership team to establish and deliver tactical goals for workforce outcomes
- Develop workforce action plans and strategies to support ongoing growth
- Develop, implement and support performance, development and management of employees
- Ensure adherence to compliance to mitigate risk
- Support the recruitment process and ensure top talent is attracted and engaged
- Work cohesively with other team members to develop and implement integrated people solutions

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner from within the mining and resources, or a related sector who excels within an operational capacity, and who enjoys the end to end employee lifecycle and influencing best practice through effective coaching and development. You will possess the capability to think strategically, influence change and be pragmatic in your solutions provision. It is essential that you are able to work in an agile environment that is developing on a daily basis. You will remain contemporary in your HR practice to identify emerging trends, legislative impacts and implement best practice.

Travel is an essential element of this position with one week per month to be based at site.
