Exciting opportunity to join the second largest municipality in Melbourne’s metropolitan west. Located about 20 kms from the central business district, Brimbank City Council is culturally diverse.
Come and work with the Neighbourhood House Unit as Project Support Officer (part-time, 0.8 eft, Band 4) in the Community Learning and Particpation Department. In this role you will need skills in project managment, administration and customer service and have a committment to lifelong learning and community participation.
The Neighbourhood House Project Support Officer will provide project and administration services to the Neighbourhood House Unit.
This position plays a significant role in the scheduling of the Neighbourhood House Unit’s social media channels. Also liaising with internal and external stakeholders and assisting in coordinating a central roster of casual staff.
The position is required to work across all neighbourhood houses to deliver direct customer service. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
You will work as a team player but also show initiative and be a self-starter. You will have excellent commmunication skills and be experienced at engaging with diverse communities and groups. You will be committed to community strengthening through the provision of opportunities for collaboration, education and social connection.

**Selection Criteria**
Essential:

- Experience working in a community setting
- Considerable administrative experience
- Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Knowledge and experience of information technology including the Microsoft office suite
- Current Working with Children and Police Records Check
