**The Project Officer key responsibilities are**: - To provide high quality advice and support on a range of project initiatives, which may include if relevant financial, human resource, IT, information management and other administrative issues relevant to the project. Undertake research and analyse information (as required) which is relevant to the project. Ensure project compliance and monitoring in terms of relevant human resource, financial management and other standards, policies and legislation relevant to the operations of the department. Develop, implement, maintain and review, where necessary systems of administrative, financial and human resource management practices and procedures relevant to the project. Liaise, negotiate and consult with management and staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of functions relevant to the project. Prepare correspondence relevant to the project including project plans, reports and associated written communications.

Position can belocated anywhere within the region.

The applicant may be required to be available to be rostered to attend police watchhouse/s on weekends and public holidays.
