**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We have a rare opportunity for someone to join our dynamic team in our busy Sydney office, in the role of Wholesale Manager. At Montblanc, no day is ever the same and working within an intimate and dynamic team, you are always encouraged to #leaveyourmark.

**HOW YOU WILL LEAVE YOUR MARK AT MONTBLANC**

This role will be responsible for the proposal and implementation of the Wholesale (WS) strategy in the assigned markets (ANZ) in order to ensure long-term strategic and financial objectives are achieved, along with alignment of the local WS strategy with the global strategy.

The wholesale remit includes multiple channels including distributors, franchises, jewellers, department stores and travel retail, and e-commerce, and although the role is wholesale focussed, a close alignment and collaboration is required with our retail division.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Alongside strategy development, this role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activity of the wholesale network, ensuring that sales objectives are reached, as well as delivering on stock management, product training and visual merchandising deliverables.
- Acting as a Brand ambassador when representing the Brand at meetings, events, and work-related functions
- Plan and develop the distribution strategy, manage existing and identify potential trade opportunities.
- Manage sales negotiations, margins and sales strategies
- Ensure that the trade staff are familiar with new products, best practices, advertising campaigns, corporate policies, and local and global brand initiatives
- Facilitate and conduct analysis, planning and regular reporting, such as review latest estimates, performance of each POS, budget planning and sales forecasts
- Leading, managing and developing one direct report - Wholesale Executive.

**ABOUT YOU**:
You will be an action oriented individual, possessing:

- Experience in Sales and Management within the Wholesale space, minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Strong hands on operational capability, as well as a Strategic Mindset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- High competence in analysis and reporting
- Experience in SAP in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Retail experience will be highly regarded.
