Inbound Operations Manager

Our impressive new Distribution Centre based in Truganina (Treadshed) is home to some of supply chains most innovative technology. As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader, for our Inbound Operations Manager role. We are looking for a confident and experience Manager who has managed large teams and a high volume of SKUs in their current role and is looking to join an inclusive and progressive team culture.
This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and will manage the day shift and drive processes, shift planning and reporting for the afternoon shift. With plenty of growth and career progression, there has never been a more exciting time to join the MFG team at our state-of-the-art distribution centre, Treadshed.

**The Inbound Operations Manager is responsible for**:

- Leading and managing the inbound commercial performance of the Distribution Centre.
- Embedding a positive, proactive, and effective safety culture while building a supportive and inclusive team dynamic across your division.
- Planning, measuring, and controlling all areas in relation to the inbound of products into the DC.
- Ensuring that the team delivers a high level of customer service for both internal and external stake holders.
- Fostering a high-performance culture by working with the Distribution Centre Manager to deliver agreed KPIs

More about you
- As an experienced Duty Manager/Inbound Operations Manager you will have 3+ years' experience overseeing a large single-site or multi-site distribution network.
- Have experience working in a high-volume distribution or fulfilment centre managing a medium to large team.
- You are a natural leader with a focus on collective values to drive best practice within your team while having a strong focus on zero-harm & safety culture.
- You will be tech-savvy and confident with managing a budget and/or owing P&L responsibility within a sizeable operation.
- You will have demonstrated experience in managing large teams to deliver safety, financial, and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- You are a forward thinker who thrives on leading and driving change management or continuous improvement projects within a Logistics or Distribution environment.
- Have experience working in a greenfield setting and ramping up operations as systems and products go-live.
- You can show your leadership values and behaviours that align with MFG's long-term goals. And have effective interpersonal skills: ability to coach, counsel, and performance manage as required.
- Demonstrated relationship building & influencing skills, along with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
