**About the team**:
The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. **What you’ll do**:
As the Manager, Inbound Sales, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives to close qualified inbound sales opportunities. You are a self-starter and independent thinker with exceptional analytical and communication skills, capable of training and coaching a high-performing team within a fast-growing sales environment.

This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of inbound Sales Development Representatives
- Grow the team in a scalable way, including managing performance metrics, compensation plans, territory plans, and team structure
- You will implement and analyse KPIs to identify trends and monitor them to ensure monthly goals are met
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop lead-generation strategies and inbound activity to identify and attract potential new clients
- You motivate your team members to go above and beyond and learn new things every day

**Who you are**:
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 5+ years of sales experience, including recent experience leading an inbound sales team, preferably within a fast-growing tech startup or scale-up environment
- Proven track record of hiring and developing early career sales talent
- Passion for sales and adding value; you enjoy the art of going to market and get excited about closing deals and helping customers
- Experience in working cross-functionally with departments such as People and Talent, Marketing, and Account Executives
- A proven track record of closing deals and experience carrying a quota for yourself and the team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- You have experience using Salesforce or another comparable CRM, Outreach/SalesLoft

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Someone who enjoys ‘getting things done’ and finds ways to drive tangible outcomes
- A strategic thinker and analytical in your approach to developing strategies
- Someone who works collaboratively with people at all levels and across functions and cultures
- Experience in tech or payments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
