**About The Role**
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, we are now seeking a Finance Coordinator to provide support and assist with day-to-day accounting functions (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable) for the organization.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- timely processing of financial transactions (both debtors and creditors) using accounting software and maintain accurate electronic filing;
- assist with processing payroll fortnightly including PAYG and superannuation calculations and provide payroll information as required;
- assist with budget preparation & month end processing using accounting software;
- determine payments required by our partners and other affiliated bodies using Excel;
- assist in the preparation of acquittals for grants and project reports;
- under the direction of the Finance Manager and report irregularities or concerns to the Finance Manager;
- assisting others in the PGNSW team with member enquiries, payments and data entry during periods of high demand.
**About You**
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Studies or similar.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with accounting software including payroll functionality (Xero highly regarded).
- Strong computer literacy with Intermediate User Excel, MS Office, Xero and related HR software (Bamboo HR beneficial)
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and conflict management skills
- Works with discretion, integrity and respect and understands the importance of confidentiality
- Familiarity with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Award highly regarded.
