Business Administration and Operations Analyst

Vance Finance is a boutique private credit investment company with considerable funds under management and a proven track record for exceptional returns and the highest quality of service.

Working closely with the Director of Investor Relations, your key responsibility will be assisting in the timely gathering, recording and redistribution of information to various internal and external parties. You will be the lead person involved in coordinating legal, finance and sales information to the investor base, customers and company directors.

You will take initiative for managing and improving workflows across loan administration, investor reporting, KYC/compliance obligations and internal processes. The role is suited for an individual who can take overarching, strategic guidance & digest this into tangible steps on their own. You will be a strategic thinker who is inventive and confident about process improvement that results in increased operational efficiency, quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate data recording & storage:

• Ensuring accurate data capture, file & document storage.
• Maintain records of all open & closed loans, detailing anything from loan settlement dates, interest payments, repayment dates & anything in between
• Assistance in managing investor onboarding, administration & data capture.
• Provide support for the creation & continual refinement of investor relations & borrower/loan documentation including (but not limited to) distribution statements, annual reports, monthly factsheets, loan statements etc.)

Systems & Process Improvement:

• Assist in building out strong, scalable workflows across each facet of the business. Creation & refinement of associated internal procedural documentation.
• Continual build out of the CRM & loan/investor management software platform currently used by Vance Finance.
• Identify bottlenecks/inefficiencies in procedures & provide suggestions for improvements.
• Maintenance of the "business incidents" register.

Qualifications or Experience:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a finance company, with a minimum of 1-2 years in an operations role.
• An undergraduate's degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance/ economics/ property/ business administration/ legal/ mathematics or relevant science-based field.
• Applicants without experience in Finance or without an undergrad qualification are expected to have 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Competency in utilising Microsoft Excel & a good understanding of statistics / mathematics and document presentation.
• Experience in utilising loan & investor management software will be highly regarded.
