6-12-month non-ongoing contract for government-based communications and administration role with baseline

**Your new company**

Join a fast-paced and dynamic team situated within a Federal Government department located in Canberra. You will be instrumental in supporting the Director with the communications branch administrative tasks at a high level and assisting teams with communications tasks as needed.

**Your new role**

Get ready to hit the ground running by proactively supporting the Communications recruitment Director with your excellent organisational skills, understanding of communications within the APS and administrative experience. You will be assisting with all aspects of branch operations, including, but not limited to, processing procurement for new staff members, developing communications materials, assisting with internal events.

**What you'll need to succeed**- Experience in communication within the Government- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to self-manage multiple deadlines and remain organised in a fast-paced environment- Understanding of government procurement processes (preferred)- Baseline clearance

**What you'll get in return**

This role is a 6-12-month non-ongoing contract to be paid at the APS5 and/or 6 salary banding with 15.4% super.
