Multiple APS5/APS6 Campaign Officers required for a newly established team to start ASAP on NOG contracts

**Your new company**
A central agency that delivers high profile programs and policies that maintain Australia's law and justice framework. The Communication & Media team is building a small team to deliver a substantial national advertising and PR campaign within the social policy space to support some of Australia’s most vulnerable.

**Your new role**
Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate campaign officers who are driven to deliver high
- quality outcomes within social policy settings. Your new role will see you join a newly established team that will sit within the central communication team and work in a strong partnership with a policy team working to deliver a campaign that will address a change within a challenging and complex issue. Your new role will require the following:

- Contribute and develop the strategic direction of a national campaign.
- Support policy area in managing and working with external suppliers to deliver each step of the campaign.
- Facilitate policy approval of communication planning and all products required for the campaign.
- Foster and be able to work in a collaborative approach with the external providers and policy counter-parts.
- Preparation of departmental communication including news items, web content & social media as well as briefs or ministerial submissions
- Manage procurement, financial reporting, and administration of the campaign.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as being a campaign/PR professional you will have the following skills:

- Experience in delivering advertising campaigns or strategic PR initiatives - particularly in the government advertising framework.
- Holds experience in developing, implementing and evaluation communication activities and products
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to write persuasively but succinctly in plain English.
- Ability to foster strong working relationships with colleagues & suppliers
- Understand and have the ability to execute government procurement processes.
- A flexible attitude with expert project management skills who can quickly pivot to changing and challenging environments.

Additionally you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to hold a baseline security clearance.
