**About the company**

This busy government authority based in the northeast, requires a suitably qualified Return to Work Officer to assist them in the delivery of injury & claims management & return to work programs.
This role is to start ASAP and is projected for 2 months’ time. It is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Provide system administration support to the Return-to-Work Function and the broader People & Culture team as required.
- Assist in Return-to-Work projects.
- Update Return to Work, procedures, and resources with assistance from more senior P&C team members.
- Undertake research, analysis, and reporting.
- Aid throughout the return-to-work process as required.
- Help with the coordination of meetings and similar processes.
- Other reasonable duties as directed by the Risk & OHS Coordinator.

**You will have the following**:

- Relevant qualifications in HR or OH&S Risk Management or equivalent coupled with related experience in claims and injury management
- Demonstrated experience in a return-to-work role and knowledge of workers’ comp legislation
- Experience working in a large multi-faceted organisation
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work
