Melbourne, Australia Head Office St Kilda Rd Full time

Position Title**:National Early Careers Program Manager

Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to oversee the successful design and delivery of Healthscope’s national Student and Graduate Experience (SAGE) programs. This role is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and managing early career strategies and programs, including measuring the success of the programs in place to ensure they are demonstrating value for the business. In addition, this role is accountable for the oversight and management of all SAGE-related People & Culture team roles, providing direction, guidance, and day-to-day support to ensure the successful delivery of our programs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to drive the centralisation of student and graduate activities to achieve efficiencies, implement SAGE as defined so far, deliver on our roadmap and continue to assess against the developing and evolving external environment, as well as internal needs. We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience in early careers program development to help us achieve our goals of creating innovative, competitive student and graduate programs that support our employee value proposition.

We are currently in a highly competitive, evolving market where what’s worked in the past is no longer effective. This team needs to think outside the box, look outside the industry and be prepared to take risks, learn and adapt quickly to find solutions that will set us apart from the competition and enable us to become famous for developing early careers at Healthscope.

- Establish and review success measures to ensure alignment with wider Healthscope objectives and achievement of anticipated benefits
- Develop a framework for assessing the maturity of our student and graduate practices, including developing a roadmap to track continuous improvement on an ongoing basis
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve the Healthscope approach to the ‘Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing/Maternity’ (RUSON/RUSOM) role, and Fellowship program pathways at Healthscope
- Oversee the development and management of Healthscope-wide guidelines for student and graduate support models - including defining support role expectations (e.g. Preceptors), managing a bank of supporting resources, driving standardised student to facilitator ratios across the network
- Oversee the management of strategic relationships with education providers, tiering how relationships are managed at a national, state and site-level
- Run national planning discussions with priority education providers (e.g. student info/ attraction) events and manage placement pricing negotiations
- Manage the performance of both Education providers and Healthscope sites on education practices, through student feedback generated insights
- Oversee the development of graduate/student/preceptor “of the year” awards processes
- Report against overall success measures and provide a monthly status report on program delivery
- Lead all early career survey design, collate feedback, produce insights and issue annual reports of graduate and student feedback to internal and external stakeholders
