**About the role and where you will be working**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the Mental Health Commission (MHC) and Southern Cross Care (WA) in navigating changes to Community Options funding.
This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home 1 - 2 days per week.
**We’ll also be asking you to**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the project.
- Support the identification and implementation of necessary internal system changes to align with new funding requirements.
- Identify and action any additional registration requirements with the NDIS and Licensing and Accreditation Unit.
- Provide the MHC with timely and accurate data, including resident NDIS status and outcomes of NDIS planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive documentation that supports individuals during the transition process.
**To be considered for this role, you’ll need**:
- Demonstrated experience working with Mental Health or NDIS funding mechanisms.
- Solid understanding and experience of recovery-oriented and person-centered practices.
- Proven ability to operationalize strategic direction by developing and implementing plans, policies, and services that support operational objectives.
- Strong track record of driving change and business improvements in collaboration with key stakeholders.

**How to apply**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, social services, or a related field.
- A current WA Driver's Licence.
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance.
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Meet all relevant vaccination requirements for the role, including the annual flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination (including booster).
