**About the Role**:
This role is responsible for supporting the State Manager and Sales Team with generation of new business revenue along with managing existing distributor relationships. This role is specifically for growth with key stakeholders in outer Melbourne and regional Victoria.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop long term, sustainable trading relationships with identified key end user accounts in greater Victoria
- Develop a sales contact plan direct marketing, and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects including and not limited to Food distributors, Key end users and strategic retail customers
- Representing and demonstrating Brands/Products at Tradeshows events
- Work closely with key internal departments to identify appropriate “go to” market strategies and messaging for specific business sectors
- Understand the potential customers’ needs and work with the key decision makers to develop a tailored menu solution to generate sales
- Forecast and track account metrics for assigned territory
- Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Report on assigned territory accounts and advise on variances from target
**Requirements**:
- Strong experience dealing with multiple levels of “End User” businesses
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience in Sales and new business development background in FMCG and or Foodservice
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
