**About the role**

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the position supports the achievement of sales team objectives by providing customer focused solutions and management of administrative systems and processes. The position is initially 100% work from home with the potential for a hybrid arrangement later in the year.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Manage process of customer new line introduction
- Manage accrual and reconciliation of customer rebates as part of trading terms/business plan.
- Act as go-to person for cross functional liaison
- Lead the response to product quality queries/issues with customers and brands
- Assist in development of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting plus any ad hoc reports that may be required
- Drive various projects from time to time as directed by Sales Manager
- Support Sales Manager with ad hoc analysis of product performance & promotional effectiveness feeding into forecasting process
- Liaise with various customers regarding forecasting of promotional requirements
- Liaise with Marketing around Trade requirements

**Experience required**
- Understanding of the major national and state based grocery retailers such as Woolworths, Coles & Metcash **OR **Understanding of the Foodservice channel and major distributors such as PFD, Bidfood and Buying Groups eg.NAFDA & Countrywide
- Experience in supporting sales teams across some or all of the channels above
- Enthusiasm and passion for customer service - internally and externally
- Very strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to be a strong team player whilst working remotely
- Strong desire to exceed expectations of stakeholders
- Be self-motivated and driven to achieve objectives
- Technically capable across CRM/database systems and Microsoft Suite especially Excel
