**Our Opportunity**
As our Development & Capability Manager, you'll be at the heart of our People First Strategy Reporting to the Chief People & Transformation Officer this role will sit on the People Leadership team and be accountable to design, deliver and promote innovative learning programs that empower our teams to excel in a rapidly changing environment. As a natural influencer with the ability to inspire and engage people at all levels, your strategic vision and authentic natural leadership style will be key to your successes when directly contributing to building the critical leadership skills we need to thrive, now and in the future.
As the Development and Capability Manager within a growing organisation you will provide leadership to a team of training professionals whilst partnering with multiple business areas across the national business. You will drive continuous improvement, adoption of digital learning platforms and innovation through transformational and dynamic talent learning delivery with an innovative mindset.
- Driving force behind our learning frameworks, ensuring they align with both business needs, learner aspirations & tangible developments for our people.
- Led, coach, motivate and develop the learning team to deliver best practice outcomes whilst empowering them to bring innovation to the table.
- Designing and at times facilitate programs (including capability workshops) that hone the leadership capabilities of our top talent across the organisation.
- Designing, deploying and optimise the career development program across the varying employee cohorts whilst working with other P&C teams and operational champions.
- Lead organisational change management approaches through acting as a change agent to support the development and implementation of change management programs, participating in corporate decision making and policy development, and leading initiatives which impact on the culture and organisation.
- You will own external partner relationships, building valuable, effective and accountable partnerships.

- You have a proven track record of designing and delivering impactful programs in large, complex organisations devised from your extensive experience across Capability, Development and Learning positions.
- You will have previous experience developing and leading an internal leadership program, ideally working with competency frameworks.
- If will be beneficial if you have experience with digital learning platforms.
- Demonstrated project management, change management, internal and external stakeholder management, vendor management and strong community relations experience.
- Demonstrated capabilities as a Change agent, champion and/or SME experience with leadership & development programs.
- Tertiary qualifications with extensive experience through a combination of education, training and geographically spread workforces.
- Exceptional stakeholder interactions, leadership agility and business partnering style.
