**Your new role awaits**:
As a Coates Account Manager, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to generate a pipeline of business opportunities that will drive revenue growth. Understanding your key stakeholder’s needs and the market in which they operate is crucial to successfully delivering mutually beneficial outcomes and maintaining valuable relationships. The role will have a strong focus on locally managed mid-tier accounts within your designated region.
- Establishing yourself as the lead point of contact for all client matters and developing trusted relationships
- Deliver revenue within the Civil and Construction markets by spending quality face to face time with new and existing customers across the region
- Navigate your way through allocated client organisations and increase awareness of Coates offerings and solutions
- Develop strategies and collaborate with support teams to deliver initiatives that impress customers and support sales growth
- Actively seek out intelligence about IS business trends, the market, competitor activities and threats, and business development opportunities that will drive effectiveness within the business unit
- Spend maximum time in the field engaging with key customers and decision makers as well as the wider Coates sales team
**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Be a self-starter who thinks strategically to uncover new opportunities for growth
- Demonstrate a determination to seek out new business and drive results in in a performance-driven environment
- Have proven negotiation and influencing skills gained through 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret and analyse data to formulate strategic plans
- Show an appreciation for the importance of good stakeholder relationships
- Ideally have experience selling services into construction, manufacturing, government or related industries
- Industry experience selling or interacting with customers in the mining, heavy or light industrial markets will be considered advantageous
