They have an exciting newly created opportunity for an experienced and passionate Management Accountant to join their finance team and contribute to the continued success and future growth of the ANZ operation.   
The Role:
Reporting to a highly engaging Financial Controller, this hands-on role will be primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial records, and leading the data assurance processes that underpin financial reporting and analysis, to ensure that timely and reliable data, analysis and insights contribute significantly to operational success.
Your key responsibilities will include:  
- Supporting the Financial Controller to ensure compliance with accounting standards and accounting policies and audit requests.
 - Preparing financial reports as required by the Directors and Leadership Team (monthly, quarterly, annually, and ad-hoc).
 - Preparing monthly reports distributed to the Executive and Leadership teams that provide analysis and insights on projects, performance and future facilities forecasts.
 - Managing inventory control, job costing, BOM's and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
 - Preparing and reviewing General Ledger reconciliations, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
 - Maintaining and managing the Fixed Asset Register.
 - Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives across local financial reporting systems to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
 - Supporting the Financial Controller in preparing tax returns (including FBT and BAS) in accordance with statutory requirements.
 - Supporting the annual financial audit process, with specific accountability for Inventory control and Work in Progress.
 - Preparing reports and analysis as required to inform preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
 
With a strong focus on continuous improvement and service excellence, you will also play a key role the promotion and championing of a strong 'performance' culture and in future projects to improve the efficiency of the finance function and the implementation of stronger reporting, systems and controls. 
Your Profile:  
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Accountant, with prior experience working in a similar Management Accounting role within an industrial manufacturing environment.  
You will have:  
- Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and regulations
 - Strong ERP system & IT skills with advanced Excel capabilities
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a small team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Leadership team and support functions
 - Excellent analytical abilities and confidence in taking ownership of any reporting, forecasting, or budgeting activities
 - High level of Resilience and ability to lead and manage change across an organisation
 - Ability to work independently and prioritise to meet deadlines.
 - A passion and desire for excellence and driving continuous improvements
